The Dojo Day
One full working day, in person. Nine to three.
Pressure trained, not discussed.
Some work will not happen over video. The Dojo Day is a single working day in metro Atlanta — arrive by 9, leave by 3, no overnight required — built around something you will not find in another executive coaching day.
We open, if you choose, with a short physical pressure practice drawn from 47 years in traditional karate. Not a workout, and not a demonstration: a controlled, adapted experience of what your body actually does under pressure — breath, posture, focus, decision speed — and how to command it. What you learn on the floor in twenty minutes, you’ll recognize in the boardroom for the rest of your career. Then we work: a morning block on your central challenge, a working lunch, and an afternoon block that converts the morning into decisions and commitments. Within 48 hours, you receive a written summary of everything decided and every next step.
What’s included
A full working day, 9:00 to 3:00, one-on-one. Optional opening physical practice, adapted to any age and fitness level. Two focused working blocks with a working lunch between. Written summary of decisions and actions within 48 hours. Recordings on request.
What clients build here
Decisions made on a challenge that had been circling for months, with a written record you can act from Monday morning. A physical reference point for what pressure does to you — one you’ll recognize the next time it happens, long after the day ends.
This is for you if you think best in person, you’re marking a turning point — new role, new venture, new decade — or you suspect your pressure problem lives in your body as much as in your calendar. That has been true of nearly every client I’ve trained.
This is not for you if you’re expecting a seminar or a philosophy lecture. This is working time and you set the agenda. And if the physical element holds no appeal, that’s fine — decline it, or book a Pressure Session and stay on the phone.
Questions clients ask
Do I need to be athletic? No. The practice is brief, optional, and adapted to you. I’ve run it with clients from their late twenties to their seventies. Declining it changes nothing else about the day.
Where exactly do we meet? Metro Atlanta. Location details and hotel recommendations, if you want to come in the night before, arrive with your confirmation.
Can two partners attend together? The standard format is built for one. For partners or leadership pairs, contact me about a custom day — the structure and fee differ.
Investment: $2,500, plus your travel. Payment is due 45 days before the scheduled day; if the day is booked on shorter notice, payment is due on the day of acceptance.
