Privacy and Data Security

Coaching only works when you can say the real thing out loud. That requires knowing where your words go afterward. Here is how I handle what you tell me.

Who Holds Your Information

All coaching is delivered through BIZ Consulting USA LLC, the company I founded in 2007. Your records sit with the company, under the same controls that cover every engagement, and I am the only person who works with them directly.

Confidentiality

What you say in a session stays in the session.

I do not share your information with anyone without your consent. Not with your employer, not with a colleague who asks how you are doing, not with another client who happens to work at your company. If you tell me something in week three, it does not surface anywhere in week twelve.

The limits are narrow and I will name them upfront: I will break confidentiality only where the law requires it or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. Those are the exceptions. There are no others.

When Your Organization Is Paying

If your company sponsors the engagement, your sponsor and I agree in advance on exactly what gets reported. That reporting covers attendance, engagement, and progress against the goals we set. It never covers content.

You will see the reporting terms before the first session. If they change, you will know before anything is sent.

Session Notes and Recordings

I take notes and, with your permission, record sessions. Recordings and notes are stored in the company’s systems, not on a personal device or a public cloud folder.

I use AI-assisted tools to produce written notes from recorded sessions. Anything that leaves my system for professional development, supervision, or credentialing review is de-identified first, meaning names, employers, and identifying details are removed. This is written into Section 6D of the coaching agreement, and you can decline the practice entirely without it affecting your engagement.

You can ask me to delete a recording at any point, and I will.

Technical Protection

Communications, documents, and stored files are protected by Bitdefender security software, with real-time antivirus, firewall, ransomware remediation, and vulnerability scanning active. Video sessions run on platforms with encryption enabled. Files are stored with access controls rather than shared through open links.

I travel and work on the road frequently. When I am on a hotel, venue, or client network I do not control, I connect through NordVPN so that nothing of yours crosses wifi I have no authority over.

If your organization runs a vendor security review, send me the questionnaire and I will complete it. I would rather answer your specific questions than ask you to accept a general assurance.

I handled sensitive material for a living long before I became a coach, and I carry those habits into this work. No system anywhere is beyond compromise, so I will not tell you mine is. What I will tell you is this: if anything I hold is ever exposed, you will hear it from me directly and quickly, in plain language, with what happened and what I am doing about it. You will not find out from a notice buried on a website three months later.

The Website and My Email List

If you subscribe to my newsletter or sign up through a podcast page, I collect your name and email address and nothing more. I use that to send you what you subscribed to. I do not sell, rent, or trade that list, and every email has an unsubscribe link that works on the first click.

Your Information Is Yours

You can ask me at any time what I hold on you, request a copy of it, or ask me to delete it. Send the request and I will act on it. No forms, no process, no explanation required.
